Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the GamesFolio mobile app and this website, operated from India under the trading name GamesFolio. By using GamesFolio you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use it.

What GamesFolio is

A free app for scoring cricket, football and badminton matches, streaming them live to other users of the app, and keeping team and player records. Every feature is free. There is no subscription, no advertising and nothing to buy inside the app.

Your account

You sign in with Google and are responsible for what happens under your account. Use a name real people would recognise — the point of a scorecard is that teammates can find themselves on it. You must be old enough to hold a Google account in your country.

Scoring and match records

Anyone you add as a scorer can record events in a match. Scores are recorded as they are entered, and we do not arbitrate disputes about what happened in a game. Statistics are derived from the events entered, so they are only as accurate as the scoring. Do not rely on GamesFolio records for anything where accuracy matters legally or financially.

Live streaming

Only a match scorer can start a broadcast, and streams play inside the app only. When you broadcast you are responsible for what your camera captures. Do not stream anywhere you do not have permission to film, do not stream people who have asked you not to, and do not stream a match you do not have the right to broadcast. Streams are not recorded by us.

Acceptable use

• No abusive, obscene, hateful or harassing names, team names or content.
• No impersonating another person, team or organisation.
• No adding other people's names in order to harass or mislead.
• No attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
• No using GamesFolio for betting or gambling operations.
• No uploading anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the rights to.

Content you enter

Your match data, team names, photos and profile details remain yours. You grant us the permission needed to store, process and display them so the app can work — including showing match records and scorecards to other users, which is the purpose of the app. You confirm you have the right to upload anything you upload.

Availability

GamesFolio is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. Scoring requires an internet connection; there is no offline mode today. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, and features described on this website may change before or after launch. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will never be lost — keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove an account, a team, a match or a broadcast that breaks these terms or harms other users. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, GamesFolio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost opportunity, or any dispute between players, teams or organisers arising from what was recorded in the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use GamesFolio after an update means you accept it.
